People have tried for ages to sum up the law of two using clichés such as 1+1=11 or 1 and 1 is three. It is the same force that causes two candles when held with their flames together causes them to burn brighter than the sum of the two individually.
Napoleon Hill, in his famous book, Think and Grow Rich, coined the term mastermind as an expression of this power and we can see examples of it everywhere. It is the power that made Lennon and McCartney compose so much better music than either of them did individually. It is why Ford, Edison and Firestone hung out together. If you have two like-minded people such as Warren Buffet and Bill Gates, they become attracted to each other because they are able to think at the same level.
